Job description:

Our client, a provider of strategic consulting and specialized managed services of Microsoft technologies to medium and large enterprises, is currently looking to hire an IT Solutions Sales Representative to join their team.

Position Description:

The IT Solutions Sales Representative will work closely with prospective clients in a consultative role to position Company?s professional services and managed services solutions. In addition the position will manage all aspects of Company?s business development and client relationships for their assigned territory.

Job Description:

  • Identify opportunities in assigned territory and target markets for Company?s services
  • Manage the sales process for opportunities created through the Company?s lead generation process and from your territory prospecting.
  • Gather client requirements and prioritize for both existing and future opportunities.
  • Assist with negotiation of client contracts.
  • Develop long-term client relationships and have a strong ?customer-first? philosophy.
  • Identify issues associated with integrating Company?s offering into client sites.
  • Develop positive working relationships with key Company partners (Microsoft).
  • Achieve assigned revenue goals and objectives

Knowledge, Skills and Ablilities:

  • 3-6 years of progressive sales experience and possess strong account and relationship management skills.
  • Demonstrate a track record in selling professional consulting services and/or managed services in B2B Microsoft Solutions, networking, Active Directory or other related services.
  • Possess previous experience in executing and managing large contracts such as Master Services Consulting Agreements.
  • A proven track record as a self-starter with ability to develop strong relationships with senior executives within targeted accounts.
  • Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team in a fast-paced, start-up environment.
  • Demonstrate the ability to maximize outcomes and display proven strategy implementations.

Compensation:

Competitive base salary in the $60k range plus commission. Total salary at 100% quota (On-Target Earnings) is $120k in the first year and $160k in the second year.
