Sales and Marketing Manager

We are currently looking for a Sales and Marketing Manager for our client, a leader and innovator in the development and manufacturing of signage solutions for over sixty years and whose client list includes many of North America's most regonizable names.

PRINCIPAL DUTIES:

The Sales and Marketing Manager will:

• Analyze the market and current business performance and develop strategies to pursue target markets and accounts that are consistent with the organization's mission and objectives.
• Select strategic accounts for sales focus and set aggressive individual and team goals.
• Maintain proper sales staffing levels and set individual sales targets and key account assignments.
• Ensure the sales team is focused on developing new business at target accounts across all lines of business. Consistently seek to expand the scope of business with key accounts. Qualify, assess and review potential customers and opportunities. Ensure the development and maintenance of Account Plans with key accounts.
• Participate as the management team representative on strategically important key accounts. Establish and maintain personal long-term customer relationships to influence opportunities.
• Develop and train the sales team on sales processes, tools, and standards. Provide consistent sales coaching, including 'one-on-one's', customer sales calls, and ciritical opportunity reviews.
• Establish clear performance expectations for the sales team. Use standards to assess the behavior, activities and performance of each salesperson. Provide consistent feedback to motivate the sales people toward improved performance.
• Build and foster a team environment. Solicit support from and communicate effectively with the internal staff.
• Ensure customer satisfaction and contract compliance.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business, or Marketing
• Five to eight years of progressive experience and proven sales ability, preferrably industry related.
• Three years experience in a lead or supervisory role with responsibility for the productivity or development of others.
• Bilingual (English/French) preferred.

COMPENSATION:

Salary plus commission and expenses. Salary approximately $100k. Medical and dental benefits.
